Joel turned the music up a little louder. His favourite song blasted from the speakers and he returned to the wooden plancs to dance. He threw his arms in the air, laughing with Chris. Across the room and through the lights he noticed Laurri walk through the door, he excused himself from dancing and ran through the groups to meet her. He got to her and sweept his hands under her arms and lifted her a couple of centimetres. She threw her arms around him and kissed him. "Happy Birthday, baby." She shouted over the music. He smiled and kissed her again. He moved his hands down her arms and into her hands, finishing the kiss perfectly. Leading her by the hand, he showed her to the table full of different drinks and left her to it for a while.
Chris tapped Sally's shoulder and becconed her to come with him, he led her outside into the darkness. "How are you enjoying the party?" He whispered into her ear.
"Well, it's pretty good, but I probably shouldn't drink any more." She laughed. He kissed her, and noticed the taste of alcohol on her lips. He had only had one drink as he presumed she would drink alot, and he would end up having to look after her.
"Okay, so how drunk are you exactly?" He smiled, trying to stop her from kissing him while he spoke.
"Well...." She stood still and stopped squirming for a second. "Eeerm. Yeh." She laughed and kissed him again.
"Okay. So, I guess I'll be carrying you home." He smoothed out her hair and led her back inside.
Joel turned the music down a little so he could talk. He plugged the microphone into the socket in his amp and tapped it. "Hey guys. Hope you're all alright. Having a great party, just thought I'd thank you for coming! So, cheers!" He unplugged the mic and realised how crap that must have sounded and turned the music back up. Next he found Laurri. She was sitting on a sofa with her feet in the air and her head on the floor. He sat beside her and pulled her upright into a kiss.
"Heeeeeeey, gorgeous." Laurri laughed.
"Sallys pissed, not you too!" He smiled back at her and she giggled.
"I'm not drunk." She flapped her hand at the thought. Then she kissed him again and leaned into his ear. "I am really!" She whispered to him and he nodded.
"Yeh. I know." He smiled. "I don't think I should let you drink any more. It's gonna be hard enough with Sally drunk and Chris is almost there, god. I'm gonna need your help!" He held her head and pecked her lips quickly. She nodded.
Chris and Sally where dancing like complete idiots. There was only four of them there, Sally, Chris, Joel and Laurri. Everybody else had gone home, it was late into the morning and most of the town was probably asleep. Joel and Laurri where relatively sober and decided that they should probably get Sally and Chris back to Chris' as his house was very close. Laurri helped sally walk straight and Joel helped Chris, they managed to get to his house and took them upstairs. "Just leave them here, they'll be fine now." Laurri smiled and put her arm around Joel who smiled too.
"Good idea." He laughed and they crept back downstairs.
Sally collapsed on the floor and laughed. Chris fell too and landed almost on top of her, also wetting himself laughing. After a few seconds of laughing about nothing, they both stopped, they where staring deep into eachothers eyes. Chris tilted his head in either confusion or thought. "You're pretty." He spoke in a serious voice. Sally didn't smile. She too was very concentrated. She moved herself closer towards him.
"You too." She whispered. They just sat still for a moment, eyes focused of eachother, mesmerised. Slowly, both of them lent towards eachother and a soft gentle kiss joined them together. They both lent back and stared into eachothers eyes again, quickly they practically pounced on eachother, kissing violently in a way they never had before. This was much, much better. They stood up, still kissing, and Chris walked Sally backwards against the wall, where they stood kissing for a moment. One long kiss turned into lots of short kisses, between them, Sally whispered into Chris' ear. "I" she kissed him, "want" and again, "You," he grabbed her closer and she moved her arms down his back. He pulled her from the wall and backed her onto his bed where they lay for a moment, still kissing in that amazing way. Chris stopped kissing her and moved his lips to her neck where he lingered for a moment. He ran his tongue up her neck and she smiled. He moved back up and kissed her again, this time even better than before. She sat up a little, and still kissing, he began to fumble around with the buttons on her shirt. She helped him a little and they parted lips for a second while she lifted his shirt from his arms. "I love you." She whispered again and he pushed his lips into hers. They rolled over and lifted the bed covers, to let themselves under them and Chris clicked off the lamp.
"Chris." Sally snapped and he opened his eyes slightly. He sat up quickly and then slowed as he felt the pain in his head, caused by the alcohol before, kick in. "Are you...." Sally stoped for a second, thinking about how to phrase this. "wearing any clothes?" She whispered. He looked into her eyes, to see if she was joking. She wasn't. He lifted the cover to look down at himself. He quickly dropped the cover.
"No." He bit his lip. "I'm not. Are you?" He looked over to her.
"No." She spoke shakily. "Do you think we...." She trailed off. He knew what she ment.
"Well, presumably so." He laughed. The corners of her lips turned up and she smiled. "Try and think through what we did last night." He stared at her in concentration. "We where at the party."
"Oh, I remember being walked here by Laurri and Joel." She remembered, pointing at him. "Then we where on the floor."
"And then we...." He stopped and nodded. "Yeah. We did." They both laughed a little. "Maybe we should talk about this later." He looked towards the clock, it was only 5:00am. She nodded and snuggled into his chest, falling almost instantly to sleep.
Sally and Chris didn't wait up again untill 4p.m. They sat up in bed, Sally now wearing a long tee-shirt and Chris wearing pants. He had his arm around her. "So, from what i can remember, we had a pretty good time last night." He chuckled a little at his comment. She nodded.
"Yeah. I THINK it was good. I can't really remember much of it." She smiled and looked up at him.
Well. maybe we should get up for a while." He lifted himself out of the bed and she followed him downstairs. They made a cup of tea each and Sally made some toast. "Shame we can't remember really." She laughed.
"Hmm." He smiled and then shook his head.
"What?" She asked, he seemed suspitious. He shook his head again. "WHAT?" She moaned. He smiled again and she pushed him playfully.
"Well. I was just thinking." He stopped. She pushed him again. "Maybe you'd wanna..... I dunno, do it again?" He trailed off quietly.
"Well,...." She smiled. "Maybe we could go and kiss for a while and then, maybe it'll lead somewhere." She winked and they both ran upstairs.
Joel and Laurri had both been out shopping that day. On the way home Laurri suggested they should go to see how the drunkards where doing. Joel let himself in and they looked in the kitchen, dining room and livingroom to find nobody. Joel trotted upstairs and opened Chris' bedroom door. He slammed it shut. "Oh. My. God." He yelled.
"What, what?" Laurri joined him at the top of the stairs.
"Errrm, well....." He didn't know quite what to say. "I think Sally and Chris have... well, moved their relationship up a level?" He was obviously traumatised.
"Oh my god. They didn't! Did they? Oh my god." She stuttered and then Chris and Sally shyly opened the door into the landing, wearing their day clothes now. "YOU" Laurri pointed at them. "Are not right." She stamped her foot. Chris held Sally close to him.
"What the hell have you two been doing?" Joel snapped, quite disgusted. They where only 14, they shouldn't have done this.
"Well, I don't think we're going to explain." Chris defended himself and Sally. "I also think we're not going to do this again." He shook his head. "We just discussed, and we probably shouldn't keep doing this." They both smiled.
"Good." Joel nodded. "Now WE, are leaving." He grabbed Laurri's hand and they left.
"Never again?" Sally asked.
"Well. Not YET, anyway." Chris winked. "I really don't think we should do this again, it's stupid. We're gonna get caught and there are too many risks." He smiled and kissed her nicely.
Two weeks passed and all the awquardness had gone between Sally, Chris, Laurri and Joel. Laurri and Sally where all set to meet up, but Sally decided to call Chris. "Chris?" She greeted. "I know we promised we wouldn't do it again, but I really loved last time." Just then, Laurri walked in. She took the phone from her hand and made a face.
"No. You two will NOT be doing it again." She pointed between sally and the phone. "Chris? Yeh. Sally lied, she does not want to do it with you again, she lied. If she does do it with you again, I WILL find out and she will lose her best friend, got that?" Laurri put the phone down and glared at Sally. "Right. Lets go."
Sally could see Chris. He was right on time, she ran to greet him with a kiss. They talked and walked untill they reached the field. They loved this field. They sat there for a few hours, talking and kissing. Every few minutes, they where interrupted by a phone call from Laurri. Sally got really annoyed by this and she threw her phone across the field. It began to rain. They ran, laughing and yelling, towards the trees. They fell down into the ditch where they sat sometimes and landed ontop of eachother. They laughed and then where silenced by *that* look again. Sally leaned in towards him and kissed him. "What about Laurri?" He asked before things got too far. She shrugged.
"She'll never know." She winked, and they kissed. As brilliantly as before.

The twelth story
@ 2008-06-29 – 18:27:52
Chris lay on the soaked ground in the field. He closed his eyes tight and let the pouring rain splatter across his face. He lifted his bare arms and ran his fingers through his hair, he relaxed his eyes and sighed. He was unbearably cold, but he didn't care. It just made everything else easier. He wondered how Sally was coping.
Sally was sat alone in the woods. Streams of tears rolled down her face, splashing onto her arms, legs and the ground. Her right hand moved quickly back and fourth across her left wrist, clutching a semi-blunt knife. She had difficulty breathing and all she wanted right now was to be dead. To never have to hear the name Chris again, to never see his face again and never feel his presance again. Most of the rain couldn't reach her through the thick trees, but the sound helped to drown out her screams. "I
love you!" She cried quietly "I LOVE YOU!" She shouted this time. "I LOVE YOU!" She screamed it at the top of her voice.Chris didn't realise, he was only a few fields away from her and he heard her scream. He jolted up-right and became alert, his eyes wide. "Sally?" He used his loudest shout, as much as he was trying to avoid her, she sounded like she was having serious troubles. He stood up and shouted again. "Sally?" He began to sprint across the field. Through the rain, he heard the cries of pain from the woods, he knew it was Sally. He continued shouting her name through his own tears and he moved faster than he'd ever moved before. He couldn't stand to hear her in pain. He darted through the trees, looking everywhere around. "SALLY!" He bellowed.
Sally saw the fast flowing stream of blood break through her skin and trickle down her arm. She was almost there. A few more minutes with this knife and she would be gone forever, no more pain, no more sacrafice, no more Chris. She got back to work. "Sally!" She heard a mans voice. It sounded like Chris. She must be near the end, an angels voice, impossible to be real, but so incredibley irresistable. She cleared the tears from her cheek and flattened her hair out, ready to die. "SALLY!" She heard again as she felt the knife on her bloody wrist. She sighed with a smile. An angel's voice, come to take me, she thought. She looked ahead of her and took a deep breath, she took a final look around and whispered "goodbye" under her breath when she saw a shape. It looked like Chris.
"An angel." She smiled. Chris ran towards her and slid to the floor beside her.
"Oh my god, Sally." He saw her wrist. "Come here, sweetheart."He had to hold her up so she didn't fall to the floor. "Sally." He whispered, she wasn't talking. Just smiling. She still only thought he was a figure of her imagination, not the real thing. His arms tightened around her as the blood from her wrist soaked into his pure white shirt. He held her face in one hand and despite what he had said before, he kissed her. She unenthusiasticly kissed him back and smiled stupidly.
"Hello pretty angel. You can take me now if you like. Just pass me my knife and I can finish this." She held out her hand.
"Don't be stupid Sally." He pulled her into his chest. "I'm not an angel, it's me. Chris." He kissed her again, and lowered her to the floor. "I'm not letting you near a knife ever again." He once again, pushed his lips into hers, she lay on the floor happily, thinking she was dead. "Why did you do this?" He asked her quietly, his lips only a few centimetres from hers. She didn't reply. "Sally. Why?" She lifted her good hand and stroked his face.
"I feel strange." She chuckled. He looked around to see a pool of blood all over the floor.
"You've lost alot of blood, Sally. We have to get you to a hospital soon. She looked up at him, and with her hand behind her head, she tred to pull his head down to kiss her, she didn't have much strength atall. He put his head lower and kissed her passionately. She began to kiss him back, just as well, but failed. Her eyes closed and she stopped kissing him. She fell limp.
"Sally?" He panicked. "Sally?" He spoke faster and more urgently. He felt her pulse. It was there, but very weak and an odd pace. He didn't have long. Chris ran his fastest towards the hospital, he had Sally in his arms and she was still enconcious. He ran into the hospital and rushed her straight into the closest door he could find.Chris, Joel and Laurri sat in the corridoor, waiting. Nobody spoke. Laurri sat on Joel's knee and he had his arms around her, tightly. Chris was sat the other side, his head in his hands, silently crying. Nobody dared to talk to him, he was in too much pain. He knew this was his fault and he would do anything to rewind back to before they had broken up. Right now, nobody knew if she would survuive and Chris had already decided that he wouldn't let himself survuive if she didn't. He played her voice over in his head, every happy moment, every sad moment. He missed her. Laurri stood up off of Joel's lap. Her eyes where red, and she could only just talk. she sat down by Chris and wrapped her arms around him, he ok his head from his hands and he, too wrapped his arms around her. Laurri lent up and kissed his cheek and he sighed, quietly. "What happened, Chris?" She whispered in his ear. He sighed again, letting her go slightly.
"I couldn't take it anymore. I walked in on her hugging my mate, and I thought she was cheating, I got her aside and told her that we where finished. I told her I never ever wanted to kiss her again, I never wanted to touch her again and I never even wanted to talk to her. I wanted her as far out of my life as I could get her. I promised her, we would never get back together again now. There was no other chances. She tried to explain the truth about her and my mate, but I ust told her I didn't want to hear it. I didn't. I ment it, I didn't want her anywhere near me again, ever. I still felt like that, but I heard her screaming and I just had to find her. I needed to know she was okay, and of course, she wasn't." He sniffed as he finished his story. Laurri kissed his cheek again and nuzzled into his chest. He sighed and took her chin in his hand, lifting it so she was looking at him. "Thank you, Laurri." He said and he kissed her lips, she moved her hands to the back of his head, and kissed him back. Their kiss became more intense, more interesting. Chris slid his other hand around her and held her.
"Hey, hey, hey. Excuse me. No." Joel stood up and walked over to them. "I know this is a very very sad time, but please." He put his arm between them and they seperated, unwillingly.
"I'm sorry Joel. I just needed somebody to kiss me." Chris hung his head again. Joel nodded, took Laurri's hand and took her back to the chair she was on before, he walked back to Chris and sat by him.
"Chris." He pecked his lips. "I'm so sorry about this, you know whatever happens, I'll always help you to get through." He put his hands on Chris' face and lent towards him. He began to kiss Chris. Chris hugged him but then pushed him away when he began to feel Joel trying to part his lips with his tongue.
"I did want a kiss, and thank you, but please, avoid the bi with me, Joel." He smirked and pecked his lips quickly, releasing him.The mood in the hall was lifted a little after that. The three talked every once in a while. This soon changed when five nurses ran into Sally's room, looking worried. The corridoor went silent and once again it was obvious, Chris was blaming himself completely again. They sat like this for another hour, untill a doctor in a long white coat stepped into the hall. "Erm, Chris?" The doctor spoke, clipboard in hand. Chris stood up. "Yes. Your friend, Sally." He examined his chart. Chris looked deadly serious. "We are very hopefull. Although the chances arn't good, we think she's going to survuive." Chris looked sad still.
"The chances arn't good?" His voice was deep and low and he was struggleing to keep his voice at one tone.
"No." The doctor shook his head. "She did alot of damage." Chris flopped back into his chair and put his head in his hands again. "But, with the progress she's made so far, it's looking quite good." Chris nodded.
"Thanks." Joel answered for him. The doctor nodded, but on his way back into the room he stopped.
"You can come in and see her if you like?" Chris jolted up again and walked slowly into the room.Joel and Laurri waited in the corridoor while Chris went in to see Sal. He stood, leaning over her, he kissed her lips lightly. Her eyes where still closed, she was still enconcious. He listened to the beep of the machine keeping her alive. Her heartbeat was still weak and odd. Chris let his tears hit her and suddenly, her eyes flickered. "Sally?" He whispered. Her eyes slowly opened to reveal the chocolate brown colour he loved so much. "Sally?" He spoke, relieved. She smiled and laughed.
"This in't anything like I imagined it, angel." She was still a little delerious from the lack of blood.
"You're not dead, Sally. It's me. Chris." He lent down and kissed her.
"So, I never did it? I never died?" She almost seemed dissapointed she wasn't dead. He shook his head. "Then kill me." Chris frowned and shook his head. "Kill me now." She was serious. "I don't want to live without you, please kill me." Chris took her hand.
"I will never kill you." He kissed her arm. "It's alright now. I love you, I want you, I need you, Sal." Sally looked at him and smiled.
"You're so hot when you're desperate." She smiled. "I have never wanted you more than I do right now." She growled and Chris laughed.
"Give it a few more years, babe." He smiled. "You're all morphined up."
"I mean it." She was serious. "I want you, now." She smiled and she bought his hand to her face and licked it.
"Err, you're only 14, Sal. I don't think so." He stood up, wiped his hand on his trousers and kissed her. "You're high on morphine and I dread to think what else. I'll see you later." He smiled and walked out the door."She's doing fine." Chris smiled to the doctor, Joel and Laurri. "Although you might want to lower her dosage of whatever you're giving her. She basically just tried asked me to do her." He laughed, and the doctor looked disgusted as the others burst out in fits of laughter.
A week later, Chris lay on the soaked ground in the field. He closed his eyes tight and let the pouring rain splatter across his face. He lifted his bare arms and ran his fingers through his hair, he relaxed his eyes and sighed. He was unbearably cold, but he didn't care. It just made everything more special. Sally ran her tongue up his arm and he smiled, kissing her neck. She took hold of him and rolled ontop of him. "I'm glad you're back, gorgeous." He kissed her again. "I love you."
